About the Journal
The Journal of Digital Humanities and Cultural Analytics (JDHCA) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by FRIE. JDHCA is scheduled to launch in 2026, offering a dedicated international forum for interdisciplinary research at the intersection of humanities, culture, and digital technology. The journal invites original research articles, review essays, methodological papers, and case studies exploring digital humanities, cultural analytics, computational social science, digital heritage, text/data mining of cultural texts, and multimedia cultural analysis. JDHCA encourages submissions from scholars in humanities, social sciences, computer science, information technology, media studies, and related disciplines especially for projects that combine cultural insight with computational or data-driven methods. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scholarly quality, methodological soundness, clarity, and academic relevance.
The journal welcomes global contributions from academia, research institutions, heritage organizations, and independent scholars with interest in digital culture and analytics. JDHCA aims to showcase how computational and digital tools can deepen understanding of literature, history, culture, art, social behavior, and collective memory in the modern world. It emphasizes ethical, culturally sensitive, and inclusive approaches to digital analysis, respecting diversity of cultural heritage and social contexts. The mission of JDHCA is to bridge traditional humanities scholarship with innovative digital methodologies — fostering collaboration, enhancing cultural understanding, and promoting digital-era scholarship that preserves and analyzes cultural heritage worldwide.
