Aim of JASST
The Journal of Arts, Society, and Social Transformation (JASST) aims to provide an international, peer-reviewed forum for scholarly work exploring the interplay between arts, society, and social change, encouraging rigorous, original research that examines how artistic expression influences, reflects, and shapes societal transformations. The journal fosters interdisciplinary collaboration among artists, sociologists, cultural theorists, social activists, and policymakers, supporting scholarship that bridges theoretical insight with real-world social contexts by engaging with culture, community, identity, and social dynamics. Committed to inclusivity and cultural pluralism, JASST provides a platform for voices from diverse cultural, social, and geographical backgrounds, publishing critical essays, empirical studies, case analyses, and creative commentaries that deepen understanding of the arts’ role in society. By facilitating global dialogue and comparative perspectives, the journal contributes to social progress by highlighting how arts and culture can inspire social awareness, justice, community engagement, and positive societal change.
