Note on Awards Offered by the FRIE Management and Business Society – 2025
The Foundation for Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (FRIE) Management and Business Society is pleased to announce the institution of Awards for the year 2025 to recognize excellence, leadership, and innovation in the fields of management, business administration, entrepreneurship, and allied disciplines. These awards will honor professionals, academicians, researchers, entrepreneurs, and practitioners who have made remarkable contributions to advancing business knowledge, fostering managerial innovation, and shaping the future of enterprise and organizational leadership.
Proposed Award Categories
General Categories
- Lifetime Achievement Award – for distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the field of management and business leadership.
- Excellence in Teaching – for innovative and impactful teaching practices in management, business administration, strategy, and related disciplines.
- Young Researcher – for early-career researchers (below 40 years) who have demonstrated excellence in research publications, case studies, or innovative projects in management and business studies.
- Innovative Entrepreneur – for outstanding entrepreneurial initiatives that have demonstrated creativity, scalability, sustainability, and social impact.
- Best Research Paper – for high-quality, original, and impactful research publications in peer-reviewed journals related to management, business administration, entrepreneurship, or corporate governance.
Special Recognition Categories
- Women Achiever in Management – to honor exemplary contributions by women professionals, academicians, or entrepreneurs in management and business.
- Industry–Academia Collaboration – for organizations, institutions, or individuals who have successfully bridged the gap between academic theory and business practice.
- Best Student Innovator – for undergraduate or postgraduate students who have displayed exceptional talent in innovation, entrepreneurship, or business-related projects.
- Leadership for Social Impact – for business leaders, entrepreneurs, or managers whose initiatives have positively contributed to community and societal development.
- Outstanding Mentor – for academicians, executives, or industry professionals who have guided students, researchers, or entrepreneurs towards excellence in management and business.
Nominations and Jury
Nominations for the awards will open on 1 January 2026 and close on 15 February 2026. Eligible professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and practitioners in the fields of management and business are invited to submit their nominations within this period.
The evaluation process will be undertaken by a distinguished jury comprising five eminent professors and experts in the related fields of management and business. The assessment will focus on academic and professional achievements, innovative managerial and business practices, leadership excellence, and contributions to the advancement of knowledge, industry, and society through management and business initiatives.
The award presentation ceremony will be held in March 2026, during a special function organized by the FRIE Management and Business Society.
Through these awards, FRIE seeks to recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions in management and business, thereby inspiring professionals and researchers to continue their pursuit of excellence, innovation, and service to society.
